Donna that's a lot of foreclosure, great that you have the training to help some of these home owners.
Donna - well 24th sounds good to us in California where we rank 2 or 3 back and forth with Florida. Interesting that the most expensive county has the highest number. Wonder if all the Wall street issues tie into that statistic?
Jeff
Jennifer - I was a bit surprised to see how much it increased from last month. Looks like we're not quite out of the woods yet.
Jeff - Sitting in the middle of the pack is not bad considering how other states like yours are still feeling the pain. I wouldn't doubt that the higher number of filings in Fairfiled County have a lot to do with the issues from the financing arena on Wall Street.
Donna, Georgia is ranked # 9. If we are 9, I would hate to see how bad the first 8 are doing!
Jim - I noticed that as I looked at the stats for last month. This is just one of those categories that you don't want to be in the Top 10 for.
Ms. Ambassador! ;-)
This was an eye opener, for sure. Fairfield county with the highest number of foreclosure filings, and Waterbury has the most for any city...hmmmmm...but does foreclosure filings actually mean that the homes are foreclosed upon? I'd like to see the comparison on that...
Hey William! - Thanks for noticing my ambassadorship. :) I've noticed over the past few months that Fairfiled County has been up there with the highest number of foreclosures. The information includes lis pendens, bank owned and aucton properties. You can get tons of information from the Realty Trac website.
