Jeff - I can't tell you how much that means coming up you. I have always been so envious of the outstanding Localism posts you have done in your market. :)
Hi Donna,
What a picturesque place! Love your photos. And that's a pretty wide price range, from the mid $200,000's to over $7 million. You must have some amazing places.
Lynda - That's what makes the Stony Creek area so attractive. There aren't too many homes that sell in that lower price range but they pop up every so often. The average price range is typically more in the $450's to $550's unless one of the more direct waterfront homes or one of the Thimble Islands are sold.
Hi Donna-Beautiful photos and video. That is certainly a gorgeous area and congrats on the feature. :-)
Donna very nice post, I love the names. It looks like a great area. Hope you get some contacts from your post.
Donna, look at that, what a beautiful post! And having just been there, I can attest to how amazing it is. If they want to live on oceanfront, that is an awesome place to live! And a well deserved star I might add!
Donna - Great localism posts - I love the architecture and water - all captured very nicely by your photos.

Donna, I am so sorry I didn't know about this earlier. I passed it by on the drive home from the Cape. Oh well, I'm always in the mood for another road trip and this looks like a beautiful one. Thank you for the information!
Pat- Thanks! I was so surprised to see this featured when I got up today! It doesn't matter what time of the year it is here....Stony Creek is just beautiful.
David - It is a wonderful area and so full of activity especially during the summer months.
Andrea - I know it's where I'd want to live. The charm and quaintness of the village area is just so appealing.
Ryan - The architecture on some homes is so unique and when you see the pink granite of the Thimble Islands....it's breathtaking.
Joan - Prices can range anywhere from the mid to upper $200's into the millions for a waterfront estate or and island retreat. Lot sizes vary too...a few quite small but others can be anywhere from .25 acres to over 1 acre.
Carole - You just have to stop by and visit the time you drive through.
Donna, those are beautiful big houses on the water. Branford is on of those towns that just screems out New England :)
George - The homes on the Thimble Island are just so exquisite. Some of them are tied in with electricity and running water and can be occupied year round.
Donna congrats on the feature! Probably the best hyper-local post I've seen. It's emulation worthy! ; ) I hear a road trip coming my way.
