Mr. 3000 Derek Jeter Makes New York Yankee History!
It was an historic day for Major League Baseball yesterday when Derek Jeter of the New York Yankees had his 3000th career hit with a home run! Jeter is the first New York Yankee and the 28th player in Major League history to join this exclusive club.
A friend of mine went to Yankee Stadium yesterday with his dad who took this video of Derek Jeter reaching this major milestone in his career.
Derek Jeter now joins the following 27 players who are
members of the 3,000 hit club.
